Default Benchmarking 2-way software RAID0

Hi there,

Followup to recent thread on using RAID0, I'm doing some
benchmarking for reiserfs and ext2 -- to discover what
effect chunk-size has on performance.

Fresh install slackware 10.1 with 2.4.29 custom kernel.

CPU overhead of software RAID0 is around eight percent.

Sequential reads show large improvement, there's no great
improvement in sequential writing speed.

Reiserfs uses 40% more CPU on write compared with ext2.

Raw results here -- more later:

Cheers,
Grant.
