| Hello everybody, I'd like to connect to a RAS running on a windoops 2003 server from my Slackware machine via ppp. My attempts to connect to the server end up with the following message: pppd[945]: EAP: peer reports authentication failure The exit status of pppd is 19 We failed to authenticate ourselves to the peer I am sure that login/password are correct. I expect that something is wrong with the way authentication is made. Unfortunately, guys who maintain the RAS don't know how to configure it to allow connects from non-windoops boxes. Can anybody please tell me what settings should be made on a RAS to enable dial-up connections to it from a Linux machine? I'll teach those windoops guys then. :-) Thanks in advance! Mikhail |
