HD and CDROMs. > > Thanks there are several options in Linux for this, the one that comes to mind is SOL-diag http://www.sol-linux.com/Private/Download/?lang=English be sure to get the SOL that has -diag at the end of the name, it is a live CD like knoppix so you want have to actually install it just boot the CD and run the diagnonis app, i don;t know all the details about everything it does... another one is R.I.P (Rescue is Possible) Linux a live CD http://www.tux.org/pub/people/kent-r...looplinux/rip/ but for your best bet to find what exactly you want you will just have to browse thru http://www.distrowatch.com/ and see, Fire Linux, Plan B, are a few more that offer tools for what you want... |
