Actually, to _pasture_ which means it's being dropped.

The point I am making is to encourage those who feel the same way about
GNOME in Slackware to write in to Slackware the same way I would
encourage anyone to write in to any vender to express their views on a
vender/product decision that adversely affects them.

On this thread you seem to have found one, who is prepared to express
support for your point of view.

It doesn't "adversely affect" anybody. I use Gnome in Slackware. I've
used the stock Gnome that comes with the distro, I've used Dropline, and
now I am using GSB (FRG) as Pat has suggested. The FRG version that I'm
currently using is by FAR the best I've seen. Try it out and maybe you
can stop bitching about something that not only doesn't matter, but isn't
going to change.
