Slack 10.0 CD can not boot with scsi support?

I just downloaded a 10.0 iso and burned it to a cd. this cd can boot
and load setup well, but it seems can not recognize my Adaptec AIC 7899
adapter?

is there anything wrong?

Get Slack 10.1 both CD's or all 4, and the first two are the installers,
it's much better than 10.0 and has better SCSI Support.

note 2, format the drive with reiserfs and use the jfs.s kernel.

you must change a different kernel during installation.
not use default bare.i but try choose adaptec.s (or other *.s kernel).

Thanks, now I know, I need to type in 'adaptec.s' on the cd-rom boot
prompt.
