| I have recently installed 10.1 on my desktop PC but I have a problem with sound. With XMMS I can listen to Audio CD and watch and listen to tv with TVTime. When I try to play .wav files: $aplay /usr/share/sounds/warning.wav , i cant hear sound so with xine/totem/mplayer films or dvds are played but without sound. Can someone help me. Thanks. |

What output driver are you using under xmms? What levels are shown in alsamixer? Is anything muted? What output drivers are you trying to use with xine/totem/mplayer? |
