| -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, I am going to ask this here since I run Slackware and it maybe a Slackware issue. I have a WD4001 4GB HDD as my Secondary Drive. It was FAT and I burned all the files to CD to make the drive Linux formatted. Well on reinstalling the Slackware I have to make this work right, everything looked good. It formatted out at 4001MB and the main 30GB hdd formatted out to a 30GB HDD. Then after getting it all installed, and the drive setup, somehow it forced the drive to be a 528MB drive and not a 4001MB drive. I have Set the BIOS and reset it and set it and it continually shows as a 528MB drive even after resetting it in the BIOS. Anyone??? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFCdqYYhC1/TVOxlVIRAjT0AJ4m1nK2eRiQEindtSengscQ0rqQxgCaA7/I GdIq+2yPx0yRYI33g1c698k= =6Fgi -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |

Female and A woman, take the BIOS information. I have tried so many times to get it to see the WD4001 as a 4GB HDD and it refuses to see it no more than a 528MB drive. This is not Al or anyone else but me. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFCdsCNhC1/TVOxlVIRAldqAJ4tihJSctOn525Vj3nq9IGHvciAZwCfXn2k yFlE7kBT3SiCjrPeZ3iRj7A= =G0ES -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |

So my guestimate is around 6 years old. It works fine though, I just wish I had anotehr 30GB HDD instead. Then I could save all my ISO Downloads there and burn as needed. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFCd8yZhC1/TVOxlVIRAtJ2AKCTsOi/V9ef/z55JIyQaKJ8yKrCmQCcCWLH 1dYln8rqcOp02pDoLCgc95w= =jM8c -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |
