Default Gimp 2.02 and slack 9.1

Anyone install the gimp 2.02 package from linuxpackages for 9.1 slack, any
problems with the install, anything to watch out for?

Also gimp 2.x, IIRC, was alittle buggy, has this been fixed in the 2.02
version.

Any help appreciated....

Suggest you upgrade to Slack 10.1, and/or get the latest stable Gimp from
www.gimp.org.

Upgade not practical in my case, at least not at this time.

Downloading the source and compiling a possibility but the source is over 19
megs and on my machine that means the compile will take forever and day.
