The layout is clean and crisp and the target levels for the articles range from newbie to guru. I did spot a few problems with the English, though. Mostly semantics, so no biggie. (Perhaps audio card or audio hardware would be better terms than noisegenerator.) All in all, it's quite good. Thanks to all involved for expending the effort. LittleJohn Madison, AL |

I think you lost me somewhere during that last sentence. You know, of course, that there's a pun hidden there. That is, if you know that redolent is also a synonym for odorous. :^D LittleJohn Madison, AL |

Yes, English is one of the problems with the project since none of us is a native English speaker. (Maybe somebody will join us as a language editor?) As for the "noisegenerator", we choose to preserve the original posts as much as possible to keep the style and spirit of the authors unless an author explicitly asks us to change something or we find an obvious typo. Anyway, thanks for the remark. It's a point to consider. Regards, Mikhail |

I only wish this was up when I started out back on Slack 7.0. Well, knowing what kinda stuff's mostly played thru the audio devices nowadays, the term is even an understatement ;-) > Yes, English is one of the problems with the project since none > of us is a native English speaker. Please, don't take risks of wakenin' up some trolls here, we had some scores of minutes quiet recently > As for the "noisegenerator", we choose to preserve the original > posts as much as possible to keep the style and spirit of the > authors unless an author explicitly asks us to change something > or we find an obvious typo. Then, the question on "noisegenerator" 's to be asked to Thomas Overgaard, but I guess it was not much a barabarism but an innuendo of a slight musical critic ;-) Better keep on this line and keep the "crisp" ! |
