Note that the library versions for FLAC have changed, so anything using the FLAC libraries will need to be recompiled. If I've missed anything, let me know." I reverted to the flac-1.1.1 package from (10.1) and xmms worked fine. Better solution (sometime) would probably be to recompile xmms. scb |

Same problem here, same workaround... but, I even built xmms from sources, thinking that will solve the problem, before discovering MALLOC_CHECK_ workaround - Vid `Marquis de RTFM` Strpic. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFCr7wbq1AzG0/iPGMRAuSWAJ4h3B0S7DeQvJi/V35V9Y+unYFmVQCgnCX1 NwQcnWsTRYAB6p82E18Sr48= =A2oL -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- vms@bofhlet.net, IRC:*@Martin, /bin/zsh. Was the version of xmms you were using the one provided in -current at the time flac 1.1.2 was released? An easy way to check is to see if the Changelog mentions a new version of xmms from that date to present. If xmms hasn't been updated since then, drop PV a line to let him know that xmms has problems with the new version of flac. Actually, I just managed to get the Changelog to load while writing this and there's a flac patch released on Tuesday June 14th for xmms, so there's no need to mail PV on this issue, but keep this in mind for the future. If you have a problem and a solution and Changelog does not mention a solution, email PV your solution. |

Sorry, i misread your post, i tought you were supposing that recompiling xmms would have solved the problem. Gufo -- ,___, | alt.sex.disney (9v9) | Mickey, Minney --- you know.
