| Hello, Does anyone know of a slackware package for a console/ncurses based mp3 player that has support for playlists? I am actually new to slackware, am normally a debian user. What are the software sites where I can download extra packages like these? Currently I was searching for mp3blaster or playmp3list. Thanks for any information, Kris |

| mpg321 (which comes with Slackware - I run 10.1) supports the use of playlists. The command for this could be either "mpg321 -@ playlist" or "mpg321 --list playlist". I typically use mpg321. I've looked at www.linuxpackages.net but haven't downloaded from them. They seem to be the place to look though. |

For the moment I prefer cmus, because it's got most features I wanted and it's damn fast! The only thing I can think off is lacking is streaming. Well, can't have everything, I suppose. |
