Do yourself a favor, and get a cheap USB "card reader" for the media stick. I use that method with the Memory Stick from my Sony CyberShot P72. -- If you're not on the edge, you're taking up too much space. Linux Registered User #327951 |

Thanks for you reply but when I plug in the camera it is not recognised by the usb-storage module so I am not able to mount it. In USB normal mode dmesg shows: hub.c: new USB device 00:02.2-3, assigned address 8 usb.c: USB device 8 (vend/prod 0x54c/0x10) is not claimed by any active driver. In USB mode PTP dmesg shows: hub.c: new USB device 00:02.2-3, assigned address 12 usb.c: USB device 12 (vend/prod 0x54c/0x4e) is not claimed by any active driver. Henk Jan |

Do you known if all these cheap USB card-readers are supported by Linux? Henk Jan |

I will try the ghoto option. Henk Jan |

I can download all images with gphoto2 using PTP mode. Thanks for all suggestions. Henk Jan |
