EBDA is too big

Default EBDA is too big

Hello i have installed suse linux 9.3 and i have windows too.Now when i am
going to start linux a black screen comes out with this frase: "Loading
linux EBDA is too big"???
why??? how can i resolve this problem?? If somebody knows please help me tnx

I don't know. It might have something to do with your spellchecker.
You see, frase should be phrase, tnx should probably be thanks and
alt.os.linux.slackware should be alt.os.linux.suse.

I was about to make the same comment, however I went to
alt.os.linux.suse to have a look, and the same question, by the same
OP, has been asked there, a minute earlier than it was asked here.
Obviously the OP has great faith in the breadth of technical expertise
on alt.os.linux.slackware.

Yes, it is normal in your state.

Easy ! As you said, you have windows too,
it takes too much room in memory then the poor linux EBDA is too
big for the small remaining room.

You have to uninstall Windows first, then uninstall Suse
and finally finely install Slackware.

In the end, don't forget to run lilo and check its error messages
before rebooting ...
