Default Menu access in xfterm4 (XFCE)?

Hi,

I'd like to give XFCE a try. I've seen it work on a friend's box, and I like
it.

The Slackware version of XFCE starts xfterm4 without a menu bar. I tried to
access it to configure the fonts and background colors, but no way to get
them back. Right-, left-, center- and double-clicked on every possible
place, no darn way.

Suggestions?

Hi,

xfterm4 is just a wrapper script. In all likelihood you are running a
plain xterm. Verify this by ctrl right-clicking in the terminal window.

The wrapper script respects the environment variable TERMCMD, which you
can set to some other terminal emulator if you wish. See the xfterm4
source to get a better idea.
