| After subscribing to a mailing list, I find that the only way to access the postings that predate my subscription require using a web browser. I need to search the old postings, so I'd like to get them into my Email. The mailing list is set up so that only 50 messages in a 48 hour period can be forwarded. Moreover, forwarding makes everything appear to have come from me rather than the original poster, making search phrases more difficult to construct. So the question to ask is (I think), "is there a program that can http each message in the mailing list and transfer the result to Email?". This could be directly to a special mailbox or be sent via our SMTP server to the correct mailbox. It might even be possible to save the (more than 39,000) messages as separate files and then send those to our SMTP server; it doesn't matter _how_ it happens. I've thought about 'wget -O' but can't figure out how. The message URLs are consistent but not sequential: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MESSEDUPGROUP/message/18 then http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MESSEDUPGROUP/message/48 Suggestions, please. -- buck |
