Asus even has GPL:ed drivers for it! (you will probably not need those for Slamd64 that uses a 2.6 kernel) http://support.asus.com/download/dow...Language=en-us http://support.asus.de/download/down...Language=en-us (Watch out for linebreaks in above links. On the page you have to click on "Drivers" and scroll down a bit for the Linux ones) I even got both RPM and SRPM packages on the CD that came with the board, RPMs compiled for both x86 and x86_64. I use the module for my NIC from the RPM package in Slackware 10, and sound works fine with the vanilla 2.4.26 kernels module snd-intel8x0 In Slamd64 it was not needed, the modules allredy in a vanilla 2.6 kernel works just fine and gets loaded automagicly. -- Software is not manufactured, it is something you write and publish. Keep Europe free from software patents, we do not want censorship by patent law on written works. |

| I found a newer module here, that works http://www.syskonnect.com/syskonnect...tm/sk9elin.htm I think the standard one on slamd64 came dates to 2004. |
