 nethack error: no write permission to lock perm Hi, I just installed the nethackTTY package from linuxpackges to my Slackware 10.2 system. When I run it (as root or normal user) the game won't start but prints the error: no write permission to lock perm on the screen. I changed permission to the program etc. What's the problem and how can I fix it? (Nethack's project page knows a bug with this error messages for MACOS only.) Chris      |
