Does it strike anyone (besides me) as odd that these two lists appear
to simply be the same people, in reverse order? Are we the only ten who
posted anything to the newsgroup this week? (that seems very unlikely)

Yes, it struck me too.

In a week when RM is the top poster, it seems _highly_ likely to me!

His posts this week were among the most helpful I've ever seen him post,
and were even more helpful than those of some other regulars. Don't be
too quick to knock the fact that he was the top poster of the week.

I think the new medication must agree with him very nicely! :-)

Fair enough!! I don't see any of his posts - this is where the kill-file
lets you down.... Glad to know that the form of the last ten (?) years
has begun to change!

oh no, you should be singing the praises of a killfile that
appparently is working very efficiently...

I don't think I'll be holding my breath on that one. Dog shit left on the
lawn for a long time doesn't magically transform itself into fertilizer.
It's still dog shit.

It has to be a "logic" error in the script. For one thing, there are only
8 people listed in the "top10", and there are 25 listed in the "Prolific
Posters" category. I'd say the script needs a tweak.

Same here, although if history is any guide he will relapse soon (and since
he has reportedly been unusually lucid, I would guess we can expect an
equally large swing back the other direction) and we can go back to being
glad he is in our killfile. Hopefully I am wrong.

It looks like that the script don't make any stats if there's less than 5
postings from a author.

I think this makes sense because without this limitation the top 10
would be 8 spammers with a 100% original content rating each.

Number one and number two would off cause be the FAQ and this GroupSTAT.
