good grief, arts is working

For the first time I did an "everything" install, and by gar and by
scrumbag arts works for the first time in years.

[Pause to behold the wonders of amaroK and suchlike...done]

Apparently the mere installation of everything in l/ and kde/ is
insufficient. I wonder what it is that's hiding elsewhere that does the
trick?
