But I thought the point of Talk LIke A Pirate Day was to try to hold
regular conversations using pirate talk, not simply to spout off
in "pirate".

So people would be phrasing their questions (and answers) here in
pirate talk.

ANd someone should be working on translating the FAQ, so it will
be ready for a one time posting next Sept. 19th.

At the very least, surely people should be talking about Slackware
Pirates.

Michael

And now what be this shivering bilge rat here ?
Presenting 'isself before the quarterdeck,
puffing up like some High Court barrister,
and it be quoting Pirate Law, me salty dogs?
Pirate Law ??? ArrHarrHarrHarrHarrrrrrgh!
Well answer me this, me Lordship, before we
toss ye o'er the side: What be the normal conversation
in this harbour, if it not be to spout off? Do
they not here spout off more so than any great leviathan of
the deep? Argghhh! But we spare your life, Barrister,
for a Translation of The FAQ is something my ship shall not
be without, and you are the man to make it for me! Take
him below, throw him in chains, and no food until he gives
us our due! Arrgh!
