| I just installed Slackware 11 with the default install (with the test26 kernel), but I can't find the ethernet card. A "ifconfig" only gives the l0 interface, not the eth0 and eth1 (wireless) that I'd usually see with the other distributions. My laptop is an HP Omnibook 6100. Running "lspci" tells me that it's a "Intell Corporation 82801CAM (ICH3) PRO/100 VM (KM Ethernet Controller (rev 41)" Any ideas how I get this to work? Also, when I run "startx" to start KDE, my touchpad mouse doesn't work. |

Did you install the kernel modules for the 2.6 kernel? -- Old Man "I could be wrong again I remember once in August 1993 I was wrong, and I could be wrong again" - Paul Simon |
