| hi, i am install Slackware 11.0 ( using the CDROM ) on a old server which has an IBM Serveraid SCSI controller. but it seems that slack can not recognize the controller, the after the booting of the installation disc, running of the cfdisk failed. any idea? i've tried the adaptec.s, scsi.s, scsi2.s, scsi3.s - woody |

The ips module is the ServeRAID driver, if it does not load automatically, try running "modprobe ips" before entering fdisk. Eric |
