Default smart relay and mailertable

hi,
i have a problem with sendmail.
i have 3 mail servers in my network :
1 for external outgoing mail (ExtOut),
1 for enternal incoming mail (ExtIn) with Smart relay ExtOut and mailertable
for LocalInOut to LocalInOut,
and 1 for local incomnig and outgoing mail (LocalInOut).

some time we receive mail from ExtIn to LocalInOut but the mail using this
schema :
ExtIn -> ExtOut -> LocalInOut
and not :
ExtIn -> LocalInOut

can you help me please?

You'll definitely get better help with this on comp.mail.sendmail, where
the Sendmail gurus hang out.

It sounds to me as though you may need to spend some time perusing
cf/README ... Your problem is far from simple, yet your system layout
doesn't seem unusual either.

Note that in order for the mailertable on ExtIn to be consulted, the
recipient address should not be in class "w" ("local-host-names"). My
guess is that your error is there, but it's only a guess. At least
that's the first place I'd look. Have ExtIn accept to relay for
LocalInOut instead (via the access DB).

I hope that helps ...
