Hi:

I have a peculiar problem with OpenOffice.org's spreadsheet. I keep
track of the rainfall here in a very simple file which adds up the
month's total rainfall from a column of daily figures. I enter the
week's figures each Sunday and then print out the file. On the printout
some of the figures, always zeroes, are missing, though they are there
on the monitor. I have tried deleting and re-entering the zeroes,
without any improvement. Not all the zeroes are missing. I'm using OO.o
2.0.4 under Slack 10.2.0. The printer, which has never behaved like this
before, is an HP Deskjet 990cxi.

I'm flummoxed. Any help out there, please?

Sounds more like an OO.o problem than a Slackware problem. You might want
to try to find an OO.o newsgroup or discussion website.

IMHO it's a problem with cell formatting, nothing to do with either OS
or printer setup. Try on a more appropriate NG.

Looks like you have "hide when printing" checked. Right click the cell
that is not printing, then select format-cells and choose the cell
protection tab. The lower section shows Print. It has one checkbox, "hide
when printing." If it's checked, nothing will show when printed, even
though the data may display.

If this is so, then I would select all cells and change the format for the
entire sheet so it will print properly in the future.

Because the OO.o is on my homebuild computer running Slack. Thought
there might be a conflict or something. I use a Dell running Suse for
internet stuff.
