Default small idesk/imlib2-dev nit.

I would like to get idesk up and running. I tried a SW11 pkg,
but although it appeared to install okay, it wouldn't work. I have
the idesk-0.7.5.tar.bz2 file, but ./configure tells me I need
imlib2-dev, which I can't find anywhere other than as an rpm. Any
reason why I shouldn't take advantage of SW's ability to install
rpm's, or is there a SW-specific version of imlib2-dev floating around
out there anywhere?
Thanx,

Ok. I already had imlib2. That will also provide imlib2-dev? I
hadn't actually attempted to run configure again until I received an
answer or two...

You'll probably never see a derived devel package for Slackware. Its
mostly rpm based distros who does this because people running such a
distro are not supposed to compile programs on their own.

Why not? Running configure cant harm your computer in any way.

I know. I simply hadn't specifically run it to find out...

...actually, it does seem to fix that 'imlib2-dev needed' error.
It appears to have installed. Now I'll see if it's actually giving me
desktop icons...
