Jeez, Keith. Try to figure out who said what when you post. I never
wrote what you've attributed me to have written.

oops, I didn't mean to post with an 'anon' return. I know how important
kill-filters are to some of you. My bad. Sorry.

Try to take your own advice. Hint: you wrote everything preceded by

has three of them. Thus, I never attributed you to have written what

Unsnipped to show the point. He never attributed anything to you,
your attribution line has (here) three '>'s, and no text is
preceded by 4 '>'s. What he failed to do was snip unused
attribution lines, and somebody failed to mark his snippage.

Sorry, the man edited his post to make it look like I wrote

On Wed, 21 Mar 2007, ANC wrote:

"just days ago, postings complained that a new realse was rather
overdue. can't please everybody, heh? but that's a moot point,
because,"

And then mentioned my name below it.

"This is Al we're talking about. He'd complain about high taxes
if he won a $10,000,000 lottery."

If it walks like a duck.... This man is not stupid. He knew exactly
what he was doing and you give him a lot more benefit of the doubt that
I do.

Oh, and just for the record, what he posted is true... but they were not
my words or my post.

Al

It is a minor error/annoyance to leave in "ANC wrote" without
leaving in anything written by ANC, but such errors are only
important in newsgroups where the users don't undersand Usenet
quoting conventions. Which, come to think of it, describes ANC.

There are ugly rumours flying around that certain people are flirting
with OpenBSD when Slackware isn't looking, however ;-)

The cads ...the bounders! Who could possibly countenance such an

Why! Imagine the nerve of some people! What manner of dastardly
person would imagine to do such a thing?!

Oh... I know why.

Right. He went to great lengths to put words in your mouth, because you're
just that important. Jeez, Al, get out of your own head once in a while.
It's dark, nasty, and stupid in there.
