| hello I conected a pcmcia cdrom to slackware 11 system it seems to be recognized alright but where is my cdrom, how the device is shown in the system, how to find out where it is and what should I mount? Thank you |

| Well it's pcmcia cdrom and there is ide=scsi emulation for this kind of device /I vaguely remember/ so it won't be just /dev/hd* device. It's somewhere on the scsi bus....
