Why do you care what OS other people use while posting to a.o.l.s.?

But why? I've been running headless Slackware servers since `02 and
using ssh to admin them. It's drop-dad easy if you know how the system
works. Even building the thing for installation only takes about an
hour, then you can configure it remotely to do whatever you want. Just
remember that if you change the IP or restart sshd, you'll drop. Do you
know how Slackware works?

Because I do. Why do you post thru an anonymous News server, which hides
your IP and newsreader client?

As on some occasions, posting via a Microsoft product indicates that the
poster is trolling. On others it indicates that someone is posting from
their place of work, which in some cases employers regard as theft of
their time. there are any number of reasons why someone should hve regard
from whence the post originates.

Because he's an anal retentive fuckwit. Haven't you read his previous
posts?

Please realise that he is a sad little retired swab sitting in his
trailer, reminiscing about the good old days when he thinks he
"defended" the USA against the asian hordes during the vietnam war. He
has nothing to contribute. Ignore him, he's a troll.

With kind regards

Chu

Correct. On "some" occasions. Of course, the same is true of posting via
Slackware.

Laughable. How does this affect you or anyone else in this group?

In your rush to defend the indefensible, namely your hero Dan C (for
Clown), you've come up with half a reason whilst generalizing about a
"number" of reasons. What a pathetic display of groveling. Have you no
shame? How low will you stoop to curry favor with that maggot?

With kind regards

Chu

Yep, and with this particular Win-droid, "some" occasions translates to
"all" occasions.

See? He doesn't even bother to try and hide the fact that he's a
Win-troll.

It could affect us, if we had the same employer, or the theft caused tax
increases, for example. Oh yeah, you don't pay any taxes yet, being only
13 years old.

Groveling? WTF are you on? Wait a minute.... is this another
reincarnation of ANC?

Bugger off, win-droid.

LOL, the OP should read some of this clowns posts...

Trailer? Vietnam? Wrong on both counts. Never been in either place.
Your lack of brain matter has me confused with ANC again (not that that
yellow coward ever went to Vietnam either, but he should have).

Ignore this fool, he's a trolling Win-droid.

Smeg off, dimwit.

I didn't know it did. I just use aioe.org because it's free and I can
post articles with it.

Since you asked nicely, I can't tell you my IP off-hand, but it changes
every time I dial into my ISP. I use Pan 0.14.2.91 on Slackware 11.0.
Please don't ask me what I'm wearing.

Or any other operating system for that matter. there are however a number of
those who post to this newsgroup using Microsoft products whose sole aim
would appear to be to 'troll'.

I'm glad you're gaining some entertainment from my post. As to the effect on
the others subscribed to this newsgroup, I would imagine that it affects
them in an almost infinite variety of ways. But in the specific case of
those who regard the unauthorised use of their equipment, and the working
time of their employees, to post to newsgroups as 'theft', it tends to
annoy them.

I wouldn't say that Dan C is a hero of mine, we do however have a background
of similar experiences, due to our service in differing uniformed services,
from which we have both retired. As to the 'generalised number of reasons',
Chick Tower asked why some cared what OS was used to post to a.o.l.s., I
supplied him with some of the reasons why some care. "Have you no shame?
How low will you stoop to curry favor with that maggot?" were I presume
rhetorical questions, however if you would like me to, I will answer them
for you, just ask.
