If it has nothing to do with somting Firefox doesn't have, but Netscape does, but has only to do with allow/disallow, pretending to be that old version of Netscape should work with no problem. |

At first I thought that this was another firefox issue, but opera also refused to work! Then, some google search allowed me to spot the problem: Firefox and opera disabled the RSA_RC4_40_MD5 encryption algorithm because, apparently, it's insecure. Turning *security.ssl3.rsa_rc4_40_md5* to true in firefox's about:config solved the problem (and also in opera)! There are many more encryption algorithms so you may have to try to enable (and then disable, if no success) some of them until you get something useful. This simply means that the sysadmins of these sites are not doing their work properly... Hope it helps Regards António |
