| Hi Guys, I'm using one of those on my desktop (USB device no: 06CB:0009). I'd like to be able to disable the touchpad (old Thinkpad fan, and the trackpoint is the reason that I have this keyboard in the first place). With never 2.6 kernels I have the problem that if the HID driver loads and picks up the device it maps the trackpoint to silly things (touching the trackpoint takes me to a different desktop in fluxbox rather than moving the mouse cursor). Can someone point me to a resource that will allow me to (ideally) disable the touchpad alltogether, or at least keep the trackpoint working as desired? I've been googling for weeks, and the only reference I could find is http://www.jan-steinhoff.de/linux/synaptics-usb.html which I can't seem to get to play nicely with X ... Cheers, Andrej |
