compiling xfree86 drivers on solaris sparc

I grabbed the latest xfree86 source dist. Can someone give me a hint
on how to configure it to compile xfree86 drivers (I need the ffb
driver) instead of the default x11 org sun driver? If this is possible
on a solaris (8) sparc.
