| With Solaris DiskSuite ... how do you find out the corresponding physical device for a given simple metadevice ? The only reason that I can find out is that I save the settings in /etc/lvm/md.tab .. but suppose I forgot to put new metadevices in there, how do you find out the corresponding physical device from the command-line ? |

| Check out the metastat options, and AFAIK soft partitions don't appear in md.tab (but I am regularly wrong) jmsalvo wrote: > > With Solaris DiskSuite ... how do you find out the corresponding > physical device for a given simple metadevice ? > > The only reason that I can find out is that I save the settings in > /etc/lvm/md.tab .. but suppose I forgot to put new metadevices in there, > how do you find out the corresponding physical device from the > command-line ? -- Paul Watson # Oninit Ltd # Growing old is mandatory Tel: +44 1436 672201 # Growing up is optional Fax: +44 1436 678693 # Mob: +44 7818 003457 # www.oninit.com # |
