Default multicast and ethernet interfaces

Hi,

I'm looking into AIX (5.3) capabilities that would enable efficient
multicast
traffic on interfaces shared by LPARs.

We've got Weblogic clusters on LPARs that have problems (read: timeouts)
when trying to establish multicast traffic between nodes. I'm rather
constrained
when in comes to deployment planning and have no real experience in LPARs
configuration. Shared MACs can obviously wreak havoc in here ;-)
But I'm pretty sure there are "virtualization" capabilities that can be
used.

Any pointers to IBM docs, tips, etc would be helpful.

Thanks
