| Hi all Have any of You tried this before ?? Yesterday, I had to boot my vio server into maintenance mode to set the padmin password (for some reason it has been changed, og is locked, without my experience.... :-( ) I allocated a spot via my nim server (a spot from the same vio server), I booted into sms menu Choosed to boot from the network I Selectd Access this Volume Group and start a shell But then I got the problem. I only had access to /, I was in the OK prompt, and had no access to /usr to be able to write the command passwd padmin........... I got the message: /usr/lob/boot/getrootfs: no such file or dir.... I don't get the chance og selecting the disk that I like to boot up hmmmmmm..... What on earth i going on ??? When I boot the vio server up, normally, it starts ok, and all my lpars also starts ok.....but in maintenance mode - nope...... Can anyone please help me ??? Thanks, Gitte |
