Default skulker in VIOS

I'm looking to set up a cronjob to perform routine maintenance such as
deleting old temp files, etc. in our VIOS partition. I've looked at
skulker, and will probably be using a customized version of that.
However, there seem to be a lot of files under /var that are unique to
VIOS.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to customize skulker to work
best to clear out old files in VIOS? Or does anyone have a better
method? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We are currently using VIOS 1.5.1.1-FP-10.1 without an HMC. (We use
IVM).

Thanks in advance.

John
