Hi,

Running 5.3 on a p44-170, I want to add a LaserJet 1100 to the
printerqueue. However, when I select hpJetDirect, I get the message

Software to support the printer attachment type
you selected is not installed. Press Enter to
install software support packages for printer
attachment types (and printers).

When I press <Enter>, I have to enter location etc.
Where can I find this software?

Probably on the OS CDs/DVD.

On the original AIX 5L CD-ROM installation media (or the DVD-ROM),
locate and install this fileset:

printers.hpJetDirect.attach

You may also want to install some of the HP Laserjet printer drivers
if you plan to use certain particular models of HP.
