Default Dual Boot WinXP and Ubuntu w/2nd Drive

Have WinXP running on a 120meg Hard Drive. I installed a 2nd Hard
Drive in the computer I want to install Ubuntu to and dual boot. Is
this possible without having to create a smaller partition on the 1st
drive like most of the internet articles recommend suggest? Is there
dual boot software on the Ubuntu CD?

The GRUB will ask you at boot to select between your XP system & ubuntu.
The install wizzard install & configure grub by default and autodetect
your XP drive (or partition).
